Call of Duty Mobile Teaser – Desert Event – Everything We Know So Far
Another day, another Call of Duty Mobile Desert Teaser. We’ve recently been getting many of them, with maps, weapons, and characters being teased on Twitter. Our predictions seem to be correct as the Desert event is being announced in China.
Recently, a new image has dropped on Twitter that gives away many upcoming event features. As Activision has been teasing and some data has been leaking, we’re getting a Sandstorm/Desert timed event.
This event focuses primarily on bringing in many characters, maps, and weapons from the more modern COD Games. While many of the leaked and teased updates are subject to change, we think these updates will likely hit live very soon.
If you’re looking for more of a nostalgic COD experience, you still have some time to get Menendez. The main antagonist of the beloved Black Ops 2 is here and ready to play.
What Is Are the Teasers and Leaks Revealing About Desert
As the image above suggests, there is quite a lot to unpack here. First, and the most obvious thing we can see in this teaser is the images with the Satellite map. As predicted, it is the main map coming in this event.
The image also confirms that Satellite will indeed have vehicles if you look closely to the left. This will be the first multiplayer map with vehicles in COD Mobile. This reveals that the developers aim pretty high with the game.
Then, you can see a big map showing some circled landmarks on the battle royale map. This probably means those locations will be changed in some way to coincide with the event.
What New Guns Have Been Leaked in COD Mobile
Looking at the map once more, we can see three new grenades that are not present in the game. We can see two Black Ops: Cold War era grenades and a more modern grenade that could be anything from a new flashbang skin to an EMP.
We can also see some heavy bullets typically used for automated snipers, which reminds us of the recent tease of the Koshka Sniper from Black Ops 4.
Another big thing we can see is the desert snake-themed knife, which will probably be the epic skin to come with the event.
Even though we’re talking so much about upcoming changes, we’re still in the middle of season 3.
When Is the Update Set to Release
As seen in the photo, the update is set to release on the 26th of April.
Characters and Other Teasers
While we can see only one character, many of them are coming either as operators or as skins.
Another important teaser is the Tournament flyer in the upper part of the image. This may hint at the weekly in-client tournament teased a long time ago. It’s unlikely to tease an esports even since the World Championship is in full swing.
Fans of the Zombies game mode are likely to be disappointed by the recent leaks, as not even a tiny teaser, leak, or data-mine has been revealed about the mode. It’s highly likely that, at least for now, it’s dead.
