The New Dc owners want massively more films like Joker and Kevin Feige-like figures

Discovery is in charge now and looking to revitalize DC.

Since the acquisition took a $63 billion from Discovery WarnerMedia was closed, the newly announced Warner Bros CEO David Zaslav looks at the possibility of reopening the brand and revitalizing its brand for a new era.

In a report from Variety, Zaslav, who is the CEO of the combined Warner Bros. Discovery, is looking to shake up DC in a move that could affect all the feature movies, streaming movies and the creatives within DC itself, to better compete with Marvel.

I must find a wholly qualified Kevin Feige to be responsible for the company. Even with no creative genius, sources say Zaslav wants to hire someone who isn’t hard-working, but having a good-looking background – that can keep everyone in DC working more harmoniously.

During the search, 20th Century Studios and Paramount executive Emma Watts was considered a possible hire. Though Variety says that Watts won’t take the job.

The company reportedly found some weaknesses in DC. It would be better if it was to leave several highly-rated characters such as Superman to lie. For promising strategies, Discovery seems to believe that films like Joker can be a brilliant example of how second-billed characters become commercial and critical hits.

As per the original release of DC Films, Walter Hamada pushed the ship with a few digits in the process, and opened up hit films like The Batman and The Suicide Squad. In addition, HBO created an array of spinoffs with the series Peacemaker and the two Batman shows Penguin and a series focused on Arkham Asylum. Hamada is currently under contract until the end of 2023 and may remain under Zaslav.

Since the plan is still under review, this is not slowing. The comic giant has several films in the pipeline that include Shazam Fury of the Gods, Black Adam, Aquaman, The Lost Kingdom and Flash.
